Finished project. This was a custom project made to fit into a narrow path between the wall and a bed. All design is by me, as is everything else related to this piece of furniture. It was a challenging but extremely fun process for me. First time on the lathe also.
I finished this dresser with a mix of three stains, and a few coats of semi-gloss lacquer, for an unique color. Birch is known to not take stain in very well, but i think it turned out good.
Nice set of drawer pulls from a hardware store, to give it some variation.
A close-up on the legs. First time turning wood. It was hard but very rewarding. Spraying these with a spraygun was an interesting process.
work in progress. Before finishings. materials used; solid birch, and birch plywood for backboard. Missing the two drawers in front.
